Classified real estate advertisers who rely on The Bergen Record, one of northern New Jersey’s premier daily newspapers, to advertise their real estate listings now have a new option: Bannered classified real estate sections on Sundays that offer greater visibility and make it easier for readers to find their ideal real estate opportunity.

There are three classified real estate bannered sections available each Sunday:  “SUNDAY’S OPEN HOUSES,” “JUST REDUCED,” and “NEW ON MARKET.” Advertisers who place “For Sale” listings on Sundays will have the option of running their real estate listings in one or more of these bannered sections, for a charge of $20 per section in addition to the regular cost of the ad.

Westchester Magazine Launches New Business Lifestyle Publication this Fall

The publisher of Westchester Magazine has announced the fall 2010 launch of 914INC, Westchester County’s first glossy business lifestyle magazine. Designed to serve the region’s diverse business community, 914INC will feature executive profiles, in-depth reporting on local business issues and trends, and tips and advice for business people.

914INC will be published quarterly with an initial print run of 20,000 copies, and will be distributed at the newsstand, by subscription, and by mail to more than 3,000 active members of The Business Council of Westchester.

The Wall Street Journal Launches a New York Edition

The Wall Street Journal will launch its New York Edition on April 26th highlighting local news, real estate, sports and more. By launching a New York Edition, The Wall Street Journal will apply its reporting and writing style to cover New York in a way no other news outlet can.

The New York section will provide a comprehensive approach to serving readers and advertisers by offering local coverage, full color and a freestanding continuation of section A.

The Journal News Launches New Sunday Edition on April 25th

Sunday, April 25th will mark the launch of a revamped and expanded Sunday Journal News, with new features and content in all sections.

The front cover story that day will feature an in-depth look at the lower Hudson Valley’s real estate housing market, and how the region has weathered the recent recession. “Page 1” will now focus on one big story, and devote extended space to covering that story in greater depth and detail. Other enhancements to the Sunday Journal News include:
•    A Sunday Perspective page to discuss issues, newsmakers, problems and solutions in local communities
•    An expanded Sunday Express section with increased coverage on local people, places and happenings

A homeowner and real estate agent recently asked our advice on a situation where no one came to an open house. The open house was advertised online only.
